Curved Glass & Glass Bends

One of our areas of specialism is curving/bending glass. We are Scotland’s only manufacturer of glass bends, and one of only a few in the UK. We produce annealed or laminated bends for use in multiple applications.

Curved glass is produced in a horizontal mould, slowly heating the glass to approximately 600ºC, at which point the glass softens sufficiently and takes the shape of the mould. The glass is then slowly cooled to avoid any internal stress.

Various decorative applications can be applied to the bends; sandblasting, colourcoating, colour laminates.
